Welcome

Welcome to season 2018/19 at Kinross Tennis Club.

Whether you are a beginner, junior, social or competitive tennis player we are delighted to welcome you all to the new season. We are a friendly tennis club with members of all ages and abilities and we endeavour to provide everyone with

the opportunity to play tennis, whether that be a friendly social game or competitive matches.

We are delighted to continue the good work started last year with Daniel Reed, providing both junior and adult coaching. Adult coaching was in particular a big success and I expect with the quality of coaching that the demand will be high

again this season.

As a new initiative Siobhan MacLeod, our junior coordinator and level 2 coach, is going to be running classes for children in the 2-5 years age group, where parents/carers will join the children on court and get to take part in all the fun

games and exciting tennis activities.

Our regular club sessions for adults remain this season on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings, combined with our usual mix of social events and competitive but fun tennis.

The main project for our club this year will be the resurfacing of our courts. We are currently in the process of reviewing suppliers quotes and proposals, with the intention to start the work at the end of the summer. We will keep you posted as things develop.

Finally, volunteerism is vital to the success of our Club. The Club is always in need of assistance with all activities. Your help is invaluable and can be done without onerous commitment, e.g. ad hoc insights and all kinds of one-off assistance. There is a broad range of talents and skills in our membership that we would love to tap into. Please consider volunteering in any way possible.

We look forward to seeing you all on court enjoying your tennis throughout this new season and thank you for your continued support.
